DOMESTIC MARKET HIGHLIGHTS

The market on frozen 8-16 lb. hens and 16-24 lb. toms is steady to firm. Demand is 
light to moderate, mostly light with inquiry centered on hens. Frozen domestic 
processor offerings of Grade A 8-16 lb. hens are short to very light and 16-24 lb. 
toms are very light to light. Frozen Grade A basted equivalent processor offering 
prices on a national basis for 8-16 lb. hens are 111.00-118.00 cents FOB and 16-24 
lb. tom offerings at 111.00-118.00 cents FOB for current deliveries. Trading slow. 
Grade A basted equivalent 16-24 lb. toms 110 cents FOB for current shipments.

The white meat and white trim markets are steady to firm. Demand moderate to good. 
Offerings short to light. The market on consumer sized breasts is steady to firm 
while institutional sizes are steady. Demand light to moderate. Offerings of 4-8 lb. 
breasts short of needs while heavier sizes are light. The market on tom bulk parts 
steady to mostly firm. Demand light to good, mostly moderate to good. Offerings of 
tom bulk parts short to light, mostly short to very light. The thigh meat and 
mechanically separated turkey markets are steady to firm. Demand moderate to good.  
Offerings very light to light. Trading moderate on fresh tom breast meat, balance 
slow. 

EXPORT MARKET HIGHLIGHTS

Trading slow with activity on tom necks and drumettes. The market is steady to firm. 
Demand is light to good, mostly moderate to good. Offerings short to light.
