The back office work at Brugler M&M is handled by Nancy Brugler. Austin Schroeder and Ryan Nielsen provide additional market analysis, research and data management capabilities.

Alan’s marketing philosophy is that “producers want to pass negative price risk on to others, but want to keep the positive risk”. Ag Market Professional marketing strategies are designed to maximize producer revenues through a combination of basis, cash sales and hedges.

Crop revenue insurance, ARC/PLC, CFAP and MFP payments also included in the overall strategy. Alan believes that “If you trade the news you lose.” Because the news often lags the market, Alan has long been a proponent of using technical analysis tools to identify where the money appears to be going. He invented the Brugler Cycle Indicator. Please remember that there is a risk of loss in futures and options trading, and that such trading is not suitable for everyone. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

The Special Research Reports (SRR) service is targeted at producers who make their own decisions but benefit from decision support features such as the proprietary Price & Probability Forecasts, and Techno-Fundamental analysis reports  to set appropriate price targets.

Subscribers of other advisory services also want Alan’s unique view of the ag markets as a check against their other sources. Alan believes that the Ag Market Professional consulting service, a combination of daily comments, the privilege of consulting with him at crucial times, Market Monitor cell phone price quotes, Market Messenger 2 text alerts and the SRR research is a valuable overall package for a larger farm operator. Our latest innovations are Chartbook I and Chartbook II.  Monthly Ag Marketing Strategy Group webinars are also an integral part of our price analysis and risk management program for producers and end users.
