Winter Seminar - February 13-14, 2025

Clients and guests have the opportunity to attend special 2 day seminars where a more extensive outlook is presented, along with educational modules designed to improve your understanding of a wide variety of marketing tools, strategies and potential outcomes.

Why Should You Attend the Winter Seminar?

  • Pioneering Ag Market research! From Alan Brugler’s time-tested Price & Probability Forecasts© to Techno-Fundamental price ranges and in-depth market research, we are an industry leader in both using and developing new methods/tools to recognize & capture market value. We deliver analytical value, not just broker opinions on the best shot in the dark!
  • Marketing Skills Matter. Old crop corn has had a $0.84/bushel trading range since last September. That’s $84,000 of income that you have or don’t have due to marketing decisions on every 100,000 bushels! The soybean market has seen a $1.25 range this marketing year. Yes, that’s a $125,000 swing per 100,000 bushels based on when you sold it. The decision support information you receive at this meeting from presenters and fellow attendees can make a huge difference in your outcomes!
  • Comprehensive Coverage! You’ll get Austin Schroeder’s latest analysis on corn, soybeans, and wheat, with cash sale and risk management recommendations. He will also go share our latest in-depth research and recommendations for cattle and hogs, with a peak at weather and fuel/fertilizer thrown in there. Alan Brugler will be back to lead our outside market discussion and share some insights on interest rates and the broad economy factors. He will also take a deep dive into the any potential trade war with a segment titled “This Trade War Will Be Different.” Dr. Brad Lubben from the University of Nebraska will also join us to talk about farm policy in the administration.

Premium COLOR Seminar Book:  Black and white printed seminar notebooks are included with registration and will be printed 2 screens per page. For an extra $50 per notebook, pre-ordered, we will give you a full color notebook, printed 1 screen per page. Just circle the item on the order form and include the extra remittance. Printed books must be ordered by February 10! If for some reason you are unable to attend, the Premium book will be shipped to your home address.

Bring your devices. Printing costs are high, so we do have an Electronic Only option.  Receive a $25 discount by foregoing a printed notebook and downloading full color PDF files to your own device on the day of the meeting from our secure server. Caution: meeting room electrical outlets will be limited so make sure your battery is charged! Bring your iPad or Android tablet, or laptop.

Bring your current or future farming partners.  The seminar is a great opportunity to get a spouse, son, daughter or in-law up to speed on the marketing side of your business. Let them see what you are seeing, and part of your decision process. Many clients also bring lenders, or non-farming siblings as guests, for the same reasons.

Here's how the Seminar will work:
